Offline Encounter

You’re invited to join our August (first Thursday evening) special event: Offline Encounter!

This will be a first for the Garden, so come and help us figure out how it will work!

The goal of the evening is for every participant to be free of the distraction of their phone! That’s it!

When you arrive, either come without your phone, or we’ll remind to shut it off. Not silenced but OFF.

Then, we’ll have some optional activities for IN REAL LIFE fun and social interactions, but you are ENCOURAGED to bring along your own hobbies, books, games, letter writing, sewing, sketching, model making, etc. — anything you’ve been missing out on. You can do any of these things, either with others or just “next to” others.

We’ll have snacks and beverages available. (We appreciate a donation to help pay for the snacks, and the remaining proceeds will be given to the Garden Cafes’ designated local charity for the month.)

This is an alcohol free, adults only eventvent.
