North Table Hike

This will be our kickoff meetup.

The agenda is simple. We will gather in the parking lot at 11am (we will wait until 11:10 for stragglers). Then we will do a relatively easy walk/hike up to the top of North Table. We will go at a pace that works for everyone and only as far as everyone says they can go. And we will return back to New Terrain . Probably a loop. Estimate 3-4 walking miles. Maybe 650 feet elevation gain.

The hike is basically a path with some elevation. Lots of folks bike/run it so it’s not a tough hike. Dress for the weather and bring a bottle of water.

This first gathering isn’t really about the hike though. We want to meet to share ideas about what we/you would like this group to become. We are just choosing to do a hike rather than an indoor meeting.

The original premise for creating the group is to connect with other men to share stories, ideas, jokes , life stuff … and do things together.

Together we will decide how this group wants to gather/meet going forward.

In this gathering the idea is to get to know each other…. so we will introduce ourselves to each other and then talk as we travel the path up. On the way back down we can talk about what this group could become. Basically we hope to build a connected community of men that can have fun and navigate life together.

When we get back down we can grab a beverage at New Terrain. (They have alcohol free options and free water.)

We can’t build this group without you. It can be awakward to show up to something new. We know that … so that is why we are doing the hike. If it’s not for you, at least you gotta hike out of it!
