This month we'll be learning how to explore and publish databases using Datasette and SQL.

Datasette is a tool that makes it easy to work with databases on the web. Databases can be helpful in projects where the data is more complex than can be held in a a simple spreadsheet. SQL is a language for communicating with databases -- for asking them questions, but also for manipulating the data they hold. We'll cover how Datasette works and what it's capable of, as well as the basics of using SQL to query it.

All of our events are suitable for beginners, and no programming experience is required. Bring a laptop along as this a practical, hands-on workshop.
