After a refreshing break, we're back for our fifth meetup! This week, we're moving beyond K-beauty products to have a deep and honest conversation about a topic that affects us all, especially while living in Korea: The Politics of Appearance & Self-Esteem.
Korea is famous for its high beauty standards, and the pressure to look a certain way can be intense. How does this focus on appearance affect our daily lives, our confidence, and our sense of self-worth? This session is a safe and judgment-free space to share our personal experiences, discuss different cultural beauty standards, and explore what true beauty and confidence mean to us.

• Part 2: The Deep Dive - Real Talk in Korea 🗣️ From there, we'll discuss the K-Beauty phenomenon. What are your holy-grail products or secret tips? More importantly, how do the beauty standards in Korea compare to your home country? We'll also talk about the powerful influence of social media on how we perceive beauty today.
• Part 3: The Big Question - Beauty On My Own Terms ✨ Finally, we'll delve into the deeper questions. What does "beauty" truly mean to you, personally? How do we deal with societal pressures while staying true to ourselves? Let's discuss concepts like '꾸안꾸' (effortless chic) and explore how we can build genuine self-esteem in a world so focused on appearance.
