[Joyful Hub] Adieu 2025! Korean Year-End Party: Yutnori, Dinner & Goals

Hello, Joyful Hub friends! 👋
Can you believe 2025 is already coming to an end? To celebrate the warm community we've built this year, Joyful Hub is hosting a special Year-End Gathering.
In Korea, we call this time of year "Songgu Youngsin (송구영신)."

• Song (송): To send off / To say goodbye
• Gu (구): The old / The past year
• Young (영): To welcome / To greet
• Sin (신): The new / The new year

It literally means "Sending off the old year and welcoming the new one." We invite you to join this meaningful Korean tradition with us!
We will share our memories of 2025 and talk about our resolutions for 2026. We will also play Yutnori (윷놀이), a traditional Korean board game that is essential for the New Year celebrations!
Of course, delicious snacks and drinks are prepared. Just bring yourself, relax, and enjoy the Joyful vibe! 😋

🇰🇷 Important Note: This event will be conducted primarily in KOREAN. (This is a great opportunity to practice your Korean in a real-life setting!)

1. ⏰ Timeline

• 19:00 ~ 19:10: Welcome & Ice Breaking (Small Talk in Korean)
• 19:10 ~ 19:50: Sharing Session
• Topic: "Looking back on 2025 & My Goals for 2026"
• 19:50 ~ 20:00: Break & Setup
• 20:00 ~ 21:00: Dinner & Yutnori Tournament 🎲
• Enjoy tasty food while playing the exciting traditional game!

• 21:00 ~ 22:50: Extended Play & Snacks (More games and hanging out)
• 23:00 ~ 24:00: Watch-Night Service (Songgu Youngsin Worship)
• We will have a church service to count down to the New Year. Feel free to join if you want to experience this Korean church culture.
• 24:00 ~ : Happy New Year & Going Home!

2. 🏠 Location

• Venue: Cafe Rachel Villas (International Computer Building, 2nd Floor)
• Address: 2nd Floor, Daiso Building, between Namyeong Station and Sookmyung Women's Univ. Station.
• (It is located in the same building as Daiso, easy to find!)

📝 Important Notes

• Language: Please note that programs are led in Korean to help you immerse in the culture.
• Early Arrival: You can enter before 19:00! If you have trouble finding the location, please message us, and we will come to pick you up.
• Cost: 100% FREE (Simple snacks & drinks included).
• RSVP: Please update your RSVP if you cannot make it. We prepare food based on the number of attendees. If you ghost us, it breaks our hearts! 💔
• Transport: Parking is very limited. We highly recommend using public transportation.
• Late Night Info: Please check your last train/bus times, as public transport might end around midnight.

2025년의 마지막 밤, 어떻게 보내실 계획인가요? TV 앞에서의 카운트다운도 좋지만, 올해는 조금 더 특별하게 우리 곁에 온 외국인 이웃들과 함께 따뜻한 연말을 보내보면 어떨까요?

Joyful Hub에서 **'송구영신(묵은 해를 보내고 새해를 맞이함)'**의 의미를 나누고, 외국인 친구들에게 한국의 정(情)을 선물하는 자리를 마련했습니다.
서로의 한 해를 돌아보고, 새해 다짐도 나누고, 무엇보다 빠질 수 없는 전통 윷놀이 한판 승부가 기다리고 있습니다! (외국인 친구들이 윷놀이를 정말 좋아해요! 😆)
맛있는 저녁과 간식은 저희가 준비했습니다. 여러분은 열린 마음만 가지고 오세요!

• 19:00 ~ 19:10: 환영 및 아이스 브레이킹 (어색함 풀기!)
• 19:10 ~ 19:50: 나눔 세션 ("나의 2025년, 그리고 2026년")
• 19:50 ~ 20:00: 잠시 휴식 및 팀 세팅
• 20:00 ~ 21:00: 저녁 식사 & 윷놀이 대항전 🎲
• 맛있는 밥 먹으면서 팀별로 신나게 윷을 던져봐요!
• 21:00 ~ 22:50: 자유 교제 & 간식 타임
• 못다 한 이야기를 나누며 친해지는 시간입니다.
• 23:00 ~ 24:00: 송구영신 예배
• 새해를 기도로 맞이하는 은혜로운 시간입니다. (외국인 친구들도 함께 참여합니다.)
• 24:00 ~ : 새해 인사 및 귀가

• 카페 라헬빌라스 (국제전산빌딩 2층)
• 위치: 남영역과 숙대입구역 사이, 다이소 건물 2층입니다.

📝 꼭 읽어주세요 (참고 사항)

• 🗣️ 언어: 기본적으로 외국인 친구들이 한국어를 배우러 오기 때문에 한국어로 진행됩니다. 영어를 못 하셔도 전~혀 상관없습니다! (물론 영어를 조금 하실 줄 안다면 친구들을 돕는 데 더 좋습니다 😉)
• 🚗 주차: 건물 내 주차가 절대 불가능합니다. 인근 주차장도 매우 협소하니, 마음 편하게 대중교통을 이용해 주세요.
• 🚕 귀가 걱정 NO:

1. 12월 31일은 지하철과 버스가 연장 운행합니다.
2. 혹시 막차가 끊기더라도 걱정 마세요! 인근에 거주하는 성도님들이 안전하게 방향별 카풀을 도와드릴 예정입니다. 늦은 시간까지 마음 편히 함께해요.
