Joyful Journalers Meeting

Details

Do you enjoy keeping a diary or journal, or have an interest in trying it? Would you like to learn some easy, fun and downright addictive methods for doing so? Would you fancy meeting like-minded people, and getting acquainted through sharing selected journal entries?

You are invited to the monthly meeting of Joyful Journalers, in which we inspire each other to keep a journal, learn methods, and share the results (which is completely voluntary, but arguably the best part)!

Keeping a journal is a personal matter, and there is no “right” way to do so. But for those interested in learning a strategy, I will share a “sentence starter” method that is part gratitude journal, part self-compassion journal, nudges one toward noticing and recording the beauty, magic, humor and synchronicities in life, and is a completely joyful activity that will help keep one sane! We will explore other types of journals as well, including nature, travel and prayer journals.

Although many people embrace meditation as a way to clean out their thinking minds for a period of time, I prefer to record those thoughts in a creative and organized fashion, to clear my mind and help attain peace of mind!

So please check out our meetings, whether you are an experienced journaler, or someone wishing for some support to get started journaling.

There will probably be some traffic, so please allow extra time to get there. There is always ample street parking either in the library parking lot or on Draper Ave. or nearby streets.
