Body-Mindfulness or Kayasati, is an ancient practice and includes the well-known movement styles of Yoga and Tai Chi. Kayasati has evolved into modern body-mindfulness practices, somatic practices, such as Massage, Pilates and Dynamic Cognitive Imagery. Instructor Rie Cherie blends the modern with the ancient. Sooth and comfort yourself through gentle movements, imagery and breath work as you walk in a park. Learn to feel your inner nature while out in nature. Mind/body practitioners and novices welcome! Come restore your vitality and center yourself in your wellbeing.
- Attend one, many, or all.
- Each experience is unique.
- Dress appropriately for the weather and bring water to either carry with you or have available at the end of the walk.
- Donations of $10-20 suggested
- Adults 18 up and seniors.
- Walking/Practice duration 75-90 minutes.
- Participants' must be able to walk with periodic standing for a 90 minute period of time.
- Please suggest your ideal time/days/park.
- Joyful Walks are a great way to share community experiences for private groups. Please message me if you are interested in a private party experience.
