Details:
Speaker: Lesedi Jonas
Talk: Threads 101.
Abstract:
Explore how concurrency in Java evolved from early Thread and Runnable basics to java.util.concurrent and modern virtual threads.
Compare the key ways to implement execution from raw threads and ExecutorService pools to asynchronous futures and lightweight virtual threads.
Walk away with clear guidelines and practical trade-offs so you can choose the right threading model for your workload.
Speaker
