Join us for a walk and brunch at Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge.

The Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge is a game reserve on our door step and is part of the 1600 hectare Cradle Moon Conservancy which is home to Rhino, Leopard, Eland, Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Wildebeest, Zebra, Duiker, Impala, Springbuck, Blesbuck, Brown Hyena, Jackal, Ostrich, Aardwolf and more.

The Lakeside Game Lodge is an impressive venue and you will feel like you are way into the bush while being so close to suburbia.

The walk is easy on gently rolling terrain. We walk at a moderate pace and stop when we spot something interesting.
You need to be able to keep up with the moderate pace as set by the host and the majority of the group.
Christine will be your host for the walk.

COST of walk - R50 conservancy fee + (at last count) R50 hiking fee = R100
Afterwards we will go for brunch/lunch. You pay for your own consumption.

MEET AT 7.30 AT THE ACTIVITY CENTRE for the start of the hike at 7.45am

DIRECTIONS – SEE THE MAP TO LOCATE THE ENTRANCE TO THE PROPERTY.
This is only 25 minutes from Fourways Mall. Once inside the property turn half right at the walls with the name of the lodge on it and continue driving on the long paved road to the parking lot. Watch out for game. When at the parking lot you will see two smaller buildings opposite the parking lot on the other side of the road.
GO TO THE SMALLER BUILDER WITH BIKES AND A COUNTER INSIDE. PAY THE CONSERVATION AND HIKING FEE AT THE COUNTER.
