Enjoy the beauty, birdlife and peaceful surroundings of Modderfontein Nature Reserve during a 5/6km walk. Gillian will be your host.
The Modderfontein Reserve was established in 1988 and covers an area of 275 hectares. It was established by AECI to demonstrate that industry and nature can co-exist. Taroko Trails now maintain and manage the walks in the Reserve.
MEET at 8.00am for 8.15am start, at Taroko paypoint next to the main parking area near the restaurant/Farmers Market grounds. Entry via Laneshaw Street (Marlboro Drive extension - put Fourways Farmers Market into Google maps - the entrance says Taroko Trails)
COST:
- entry fee to walk the trails R45
Those who like to do so can go for brunch in the Farmers Market.
COST:
Brunch is at your own expense.
Entry fee to the Farmers Market- if open - is R10.
