We are going to participate in the major worldwide street photography event - 24 Hour Project.

The idea of the project is to document the Human Condition in our city, i.e. Hong Kong, for 24 hours.

The largest photography event of its kind, documenting humanity to make a difference. This year with a focus on women stories to support Women’s Human Rights.

The 24HourProject gathers emerging photographers, aspiring photojournalist and visual storytellers from every city around the world to share photos as they document humanity in real time during twenty-four hours.

The 8th yearly edition of the #24HourProject is on May 25th 2019. The theme is to document stories of women from around the world together with day to day human stories.

We are aware women all over the world live in conditions of inequality. The United Nations Organization has registered 70% of women worldwide have suffered some type of violence. The World Economic Forum pointed out in its latest report another 202 years are needed to close the economic gender gap in the world and finally in countries like Mexico, the UN Women office declared in 2018 that 9 women are killed every day because of gender issues.

Through the 24HourProject we always bring awareness to social issues as we partner with non-profit organizations. This year we are raising funds via a global crowdfunding campaign for selected non-profit organizations which work to empower women: Atena in Iran, GES Mujer in Mexico, Sacred Valley Health in Peru, and She Has Hope in Uganda.

We will walk through Hong Kong and document human condition. Each participant will have to upload one photo per hour to Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ or Twitter https://twitter.com/

Vision
Each participant shares to social media one photo every hour for the 24 hours following 24HourProject guidelines. The images, theme and content become a viral live view to the world hour by hour.

All photos are seen live through our social media channels and later become part of travel exhibitions. First exhibition will be in New York City on June 23, 2019.

History
The 24HourProject was co-founded by two photographers, Renzo Grande and Sam Smotherman, in 2012. The idea began with a personal project to document and compare two different cities for one full day. That same year, other photographers joined the first edition which gathered a total of 65 world photographers to document 24 cities.

In the last 2018 edition, 4,280 photographers participated in 850 cities from 104 countries. The global collaboration of the project lead to gallery exhibitions in Australia, Finland, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru. Poland, United States and Venezuela.

通過24小時項目，我們與非營利組織合作，帶入社會問題，提高意識。今年我們通過全球籌集資金，為選定的非營利組織提供眾籌活動，為婦女充權:伊朗的Atena，墨西哥的GES Mujer，秘魯的Sacred Valley Health，烏干達的She
Has Hope。
