Cheung Chau Climbing Festival

The Climbing Carnival on April 27 is a preliminary community event prior to the more well known Chung Chau Piu Sik Parade and Bun Scrambling Competion on May 5 to 6. It is a good opportunity to visit and explore the island under somewhat less crowded circumstances ahead of the main events, and more locally focused. Also, a chance to scout out the area in case you may plan to return for the main events in May. All types of film, digital, video, and smartphone cameras are suitable.

This will be a free event (excluding cost of ferry transportation), with no limit on number of participants. RSVP through the MeetUp app is appreciated, though. Be sure to check back prior to the day of the event for any changes
