Welcome to JPride, a Jewish LGBTQIA+ Meetup Group for members of the Jewish community who identify as LGBTQIA+ or are allies. We gather to foster a sense of community, support, and understanding within the intersection of Jewish and LGBTQIA+ identities. Whether you're interested in social events, discussions, learning opportunities, or simply making new friends, this group is the perfect space for you. Join us as we explore our shared heritage and celebrate the diversity of our community. All are welcome to join us in embracing our Jewish and LGBTQIA+ identities with pride.

Many gather at Oregon Ridge for the Annual Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars. Baltimore Hebrew Congregation (BHC) hosts Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars on Monday September 22, 6 PM at Oregon Ridge Park. This unique Rosh Hashanah service. The park opens at 4 PM as attendees enjoy picnic dinners with family and friends. You do not have to be a BHC member to enjoy our community wide service at Oregon Ridge. Bring your own picnic dinner, snacks, and activities to enjoy in advance.

I plan to get there by 4pm and will have a spot claimed. The service starts at 6pm. It is recommended that you bring either a picnic blanket to sit on or folding chairs, as well as your picnic meal of choice. I will message meetup members who RSVP by the day before my phone number. I am going to post in the comments day of more details on how to find us.
Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars is at the Dinner Theater at Oregon Ridge Park, it says closed on the map but will be open for the event. The pin is how to find parking lot, follow the flow of people to the stage area. Carpooling is recommended.
Prayers are projected onto a screen, and a limited number of booklets is available. American Sign Language interpreting will be provided.

Expect songs from various projects throughout their careers, music that has influenced their lives, and of course a few of the iconic hits from the musical where it all began.
RENT, by Jonathan Larson, has gone on to become an international phenomenon from its Off-Broadway beginnings. Fans everywhere relate to the theme and stories of RENT and certainly have connected with the characters and the actors who portrayed them. Since their time as members of the original cast, Adam and Anthony have remained close friends while each have gone on to do additional great work on Broadway, film, and TV, since originating the roles of Roger and Mark in this landmark show.
Tony Award® nominee Adam Pascal is known for his leading roles on Broadway in shows including Aida, Memphis, Something Rotten!, and Disaster! He most recently toured the country starring in Pretty Woman. Anthony Rapp just completed an acclaimed run of his original show Without You Off-Broadway, and is known for starring in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and If/Then.
