Brisbane’s largest Freshers Festival is back! Meet new friends, explore useful student resources and enjoy giveaways, activities and lucky draws. 🎁🎲

## 📣 About the Event

Starting a new semester in a new city can feel exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Where do you meet people outside your classes? How do you find reliable local services? And how can you settle into university life more quickly?
The 2026 S2 Brisbane Freshers Festival brings new students, current students, local businesses and community organisations together for an afternoon of connection, activities and discovery. 🤝
Now in its sixth edition, the festival is designed especially for students from The University of Queensland (UQ), Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Griffith University. 🏫
Whether you have just arrived in Brisbane or have already been studying here for a while, you are welcome to attend. Come with friends, invite your classmates or join on your own—you will have plenty of opportunities to meet people during the event. 👋
Admission is completely free, but advance registration is recommended as capacity is limited. 🎟️

### 🎓 Meet Students from Brisbane’s Three Major Universities

Connect with new and current students from UQ, QUT and Griffith.
