🤖 What AI products are actually being built in Melbourne?
This event will feature seven confirmed and actively developing AI startup projects, covering youth AI education, pet technology, AI trading tools, enterprise AI agents, consumer AI, international student life and social connection, and AI-powered precision teaching.
Each project will have approximately 15 minutes to share its founder story, product positioning, the problem it is solving, current progress, a live product demo, and audience Q&A.
This is not a formal fundraising pitch event, nor a conference focused only on trends and concepts. We are creating an open and relaxed space where real products can be seen, builders can receive useful feedback, and people can connect with Melbourne’s AI community.
## 🚀 Featured Projects
### 1. 💻 AirBotix|AI Coding Education for Young People
AirBotix is an AI coding education platform for children and teenagers aged 5–17.
Through age-appropriate creative coding tools and project-based learning, students use AI to create stories, games, animations, websites, and real coding projects.
The platform keeps children at the centre of the creative process, with AI providing support rather than replacing their thinking. It combines safety mechanisms, teacher guidance, and age-based learning pathways for families and schools.
Core products: Story Blocks, Creative Code Studio, Kids OpenCode, weekly group classes, holiday camps, one-on-one tutoring, and school programs.
### 2. 🐾 Furday|Pet Health & Life Journal App
Furday is a pet journal app for multi-pet households, combining pet health management, everyday records, and memories in one product.
Users can manage pet profiles, weight, vaccinations, check-ups, parasite prevention, photos, diary entries, walking routines, medication reminders, and other daily activities.
Through check-ins, achievements, and stickers, users can also turn their records into exportable digital pet journals.
Core products: Pet profiles, health calendar, diary and photo management, daily check-ins, achievement system, and digital pet journals.
### 3. 📈 Deerbit AI|Non-Custodial AI Trading Tool
Deerbit allows users to express trading ideas in natural language, then uses AI to assist with market research, trading plans, strategy generation, historical backtesting, and paper trading.
After the user confirms a plan, the system can support trade execution, take-profit and stop-loss settings, and ongoing monitoring.
Deerbit follows a non-custodial model, meaning funds remain in the user’s own exchange, wallet, or brokerage account.
Core products: AI trading assistant, market research, strategy generation, historical backtesting, paper trading, multi-platform connectivity, and risk monitoring.
### 4. ⚙️ Olav OS|Enterprise AI Agent Operating System
Olav OS is designed for professional service businesses with complex workflows, large volumes of documents, and strong compliance requirements, including migration and international education, legal services, accounting and audit, and recruitment.
The system uses event sourcing to record each step and state machines to manage AI recommendations and execution permissions.
AI can suggest the next action, but business rules, evidence, and human approval determine whether a workflow can proceed.
Core products: Enterprise AI agents, automated business workflows, typed state machines, human approval controls, compliance auditing, and industry adapters.
### 5. 🔭 Vela|A Process-Transparent AI Astrology Product
Vela is a consumer AI product for overseas Chinese communities, combining free chart generation with paid professional interpretation reports.
Unlike astrology tools that provide conclusions without context, Vela presents chart selection, cross-checking, and the reasoning behind its interpretations.
User profiles become part of the context for future readings, allowing the product to provide increasingly personalised experiences over time.
Core products: Free AI chart generation, professional interpretation reports, transparent analysis processes, and personalised user profiles.
### 6. 🌏 留小伴|AI Companionship & Social App for International Students
留小伴 is an AI companionship and lifestyle social app for international students around the world.
It focuses on the loneliness, difficulty building a social circle, and fragmented life information that many students experience when they first move overseas.
The product combines a personalised, proactive, interactive, and growth-oriented AI companion with class-based groups, a community space, digital drift bottles, and lifestyle services.
Core products: Personalised AI companion, interactive relationship-building, class communities, social discovery, digital drift bottles, and international student lifestyle services.
### 7. 🦄 Ponyknows|AI Multi-Agent Precision Teaching Platform
Ponyknows is built on AI multi-agent engineering and connects teaching assistant systems, learning support platforms, smart printing terminals, and smart pens.
The project aims to connect teaching support, learning assistance, printed materials, and pen-based interaction into a more integrated teaching and feedback loop.
By connecting data and tasks across multiple platforms, Ponyknows seeks to provide teachers with more precise learning feedback and support more personalised teaching.
Core products: AI multi-agent teaching coordination, teaching assistant platform, learning support system, smart printing terminals, smart pens, and precision teaching workflows.
Olav OS and Vela are presented by the same builder, demonstrating two different applications of AI: enterprise services and consumer products.
