Hello JavaScript developers, gaming fans and code golfing gurus!

We want to kick off the 12th edition of the [js13kGames](https://js13kgames.com/) competition with you!

**Js13kGames** is a JavaScript coding competition for HTML5 Game Developers. The fun part is the file size limit set to **13 kilobytes**. The competition starts on Saturday, August 13th, and runs for an entire month up until September 13th. The theme for 2023 will be announced on August 13th.

All participants of our event are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
