Zilker Hillside Theater

Join us for an evening, outdoor theater production on the hill across from the Barton Springs Pool. The Broadway show this year is Singin' in the Rain. We'll start with a cool-off in the pool, then picnic on the hill before the show.

Schedule:

• 5:30 pm Meet at Zilker Hillside. Large blankets help reserve seats.
• 5:45 pm We leave the hillside to swim in Barton Springs.
• 7:30 pm Meet back on the hillside for dinner together.
• 8:15 pm (approx.) The play starts.

Parking: $20 onsite parking fee supports the show, but you can park free across the street (https://zilker.org/hillside/):

• Under Mopac bridge at Stratford Drive & Lou Neff Road
• Stratford Lot (Rock Garden Lot)
• Lou Neff Drive around the park

What to Bring:

• A main course for your family
• A side dish or desert to share with others
• Plates and silverware
• Insect repellent
• Sunscreen
• Drinks for your family (alcohol prohibited)
• Swimsuit, a towel
• Blanket or low chairs (28” tall or less) (Regular lawn chairs are only allowed at the top of the hill.)
• Umbrella to block the sun when we first get there (not needed when show starts)

• Free, but contributions are requested
