Jug Band Jam at the Haven Restaurant in JP! Thursday July 24!

Pack up your kazoo, uke, guitar, or washboard. Bring your voice and dancing shoes too! Or grab a pint and some grub, and just listen.

Join in with the Jug Nuts -- Michael Buonaiuto, Dan Holabaugh, and Tom Stewart -- at a SECOND LOCATION for our open jug band jam - The Haven in Jamaica Plain! (We are hoping to make this a "mostly-4th-Thursday-of-the-month" regular event!)

We’ll bring lyrics and chords, and lead the songs (and, if you show up empty-handed, provide some home-made instruments for you to try out) as we explore this good time music rooted in the jazz and blues of the 1920’s and 30’s.

The Haven is located in the heart of Jamaica Plain. They offer an authentic Scottish cuisine and a bustling events calendar, including DRAMnight whisky tastings, comedy nights, live music, trivia and more.
