Meetup JUG.CY May 23 with a celebration of Java 30 Anniversary

This time we will celebrate the Java birthday, and of course, it will be a technical talk with a discussion. After the talk, attendees can ask questions of our guests and do a lot of networking. It will be hot!

Participation is completely free, but places are limited. Please check in if you plan to attend the meeting; we can't let you into the building if you are not on the list.

Java 21 -> 25 what's new?

Java 25 has been developed last two years and will be released this autumn. It will be the LTS release, so it will be adopted by all major frameworks, tools, and libraries, and our projects will be migrated to this version. What does it mean for us as Java developers? Which features are going to be added or are already completed? What about the performance, security, and support of AI?

If you are still not familiar with Java 21, do not worry. We will also cover it during the session because many features are related.

Let’s see together how it works right now to be prepared for the next big release. Let’s discuss your favorite features and what you would like to improve upon them.
