Details

In this meetup, we'll introduce Dyad (formerly JuliaSim), the next-generation tool for component based modeling and simulation, along with its deeply integrated AI Agent that can drastically accelerate the rate at which you build, validate and tune your models. We will also have ๐Ÿ• pizza!

We will start from the very beginning, no prior knowledge of Dyad is required. We will start with how to install Dyad, how to get its agentic AI running, build our first models, and then finally learn how to write our our components. By the end of the workshop we will feel comfortable building and using Dyad in industrial environments.

Agenda

  • Introduce Dyad and acausal modeling
  • Build models using VS Code and Dyad's integrated graphical interface
  • Use the AI Agent to build, validate and tune your models
  • Explore real-world scenarios across domains
  • Experience how properly tuned agentic AI can speed up your iteration time!

Time
6-9pm, November 18. The workshop will last 3 hours and will be interactive, so bring your laptops!
