***GJ praise & worship open group home fellowship meeting monthly on 2nd (sometimes 3rd) Saturdays 5pm until ~8:30pm ***
This is an open group, intended to help people connect with each other and go deeper with the Lord, or even just to learn about Christianity for those who may hold a different world view.
All are welcome!
- Open group home fellowship: Open to anyone, especially if you don't have a home church or attend a small group; invite your friends and neighbors. We average about 12 people per event (more for special events).
- RSVP requested: RSVP not required but it helps if you let us know when you're coming so we can plan for food (but if you don't RSVP or bring food you can still come!).
- Potluck: Main dish will be provided. Bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share if you can. Donations welcome to help pay for some of the main food that will be provided by your hosts (but if you don't RSVP or bring food you can still come!).
- Bible study/devotional: In addition to worship we’ll typically learn a short song taken from scripture (to help us to memorize scripture through song), then we’ll have a 30-45 minute interactive Bible study and discussion to seek to understand the context of the verse where the song was derived.
- Ministry & outreach: Occasional service and outreach events. Stay tuned for future service events. (17 of us had a great time Christmas caroling at a nursing home in December and enjoyed hot chocolate and snacks at our house afterwards).
- Fun activities: Occasional special events that may include Super Bowl Party, movies, ping pong, games, pickleball, camping, fire pit worship, movies, etc.
- Kids welcome: Just let us know the ages if they need to be in a separate room with a kids video.
Experience scripture coming alive as we memorize scripture through song as it helps us to learn God’s word and hide it in our heart.

This group is Christian, non-denominational, but open to people of little or no faith. :) Our goal is to reach those on the fringe, the 'afar off', even the unchurched. Come explore and reason together about the one true God, and grow in your walk with the Lord.
Several of us attend Monument View Bible Church in Fruita (https://mvbcfruita.org/ ), but we aren't directly affiliated.
Our home fellowship group so far ranges from mid 30's to 70's, so pretty wide range of men and women, some married some single, so very mixed. We often have new people, and never really know who is going to come, so come be one of the 'newcomers'!
We normally do a time of fellowship/potluck, worship, then Bible study. We also do special events, so far including Christmas Caroling and movie night. We will plan to do camping, outside BBQ, more movie nights, and some other things as we can fit them in. Some others have met outside the group for coffee/tea, hiking, etc.
Check out the upcoming events for each month on the meetup website (or junctionfellowship.org), and don't forget to RSVP for each one whether you plan to come or not (but if you don't RSVP or bring food you can still come!).
We'd love for you to join us and see what you think, and invite your friends!
