What we’re about
The Juneau Hikers Meetup group will post public hikes announced by several different local hiking groups in Juneau, Alaska.
These are not guided hikes. The hiking groups are not affiliated with any organization or government entity. All groups are friends hiking together.
All hikes are at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own safety on all hikes. Always hike with a partner who hikes at your level. If the trail proves to be difficult and beyond your comfort level, do not hesitate to turn back along with your hiking partner. A hiking buddy is insurance for a safe return.
You are responsible for making sure you have the appropriate gear and are physically able to participate in these hikes.
