Working with Shadow and Projections

Details
This is the second class in The Process of Individuation, but you're welcome to attend whether or not you were at the first class.
In dreams and myths, the shadow most often appears as a person of the same sex, a lost brother/sister or an old school buddy we've lost touch with who suddenly reappears. Shadow may also turn up in things we do unconsciously that don't accord with our conscious wishes, or irresistible impulses that take us over. Although the shadow can seem destructive, scary, or just embarrassing, it can potentially by a great ally. At the very least if we're willing to acknowledge our shadow and make a relationship with it this can bring more balance and happiness to our lives. In this class I'll describe different ways the shadow appears, and give students a chance to think and talk about how it appears in their lives. We'll each also have a chance to dialogue with our shadow, to find out what it wants and what we are willing or unwilling to give.
