In this presentation, Brendan Feeley will use the ancient Indian system of astrology to examine the planetary influences on political affairs and the economy of the USA. What can we expect in 2011? When can we expect the housing market to stabilize? Vedic Astrology originated in ancient India more than 5,000 years ago and uses a set of scientific rules of prediction based on planetary influences. These influences are seen as soul forces or karmic patterns that are destined to manifest as events or experiences in our lives. The system is completely unique in its use of planetary and sign based dasas (periods) for determining the timing of events as well as our capacity to fulfill dreams, hopes and wishes in this world.

Brendan Feeley is one of the great Vedic astrologers in the West. He is also a Homeopath, and Jungian counselor. He is currently teaching a class on Enbodiment at the Jung Society of DC.

From the 495 Beltway take Georgia Avenue South, make a right at the light on Seminary Road.
At the fork stay straight and Seminary Road turns into Linden Lane. Go three blocks and you will pass Monroe Street,
then Warren and right after you pass Hale Road make an immediate left into the parking lot before you reach Fraser.
Rivendell is about 4 doors down. Fraser Avenue is actually the alley behind the center, if you get to that sign you have gone too far.

From DC, take Georgia Avenue to Seminary Road, turn left, then follow directions above.
