Are you a Junior Developer or newbie in the Tech industry? Are you excited to be starting your career and want to celebrate your accomplishments with others? Maybe you sometimes feel anxious about work or question your own abilities? You are not alone!
JuniorDev Community is a home for all things JuniorDev, where we will connect you with not only your peers, but also industry experts, and experienced developers. We'll have people share their stories, their failures, and there will be plenty of fun times!
We'll be hosting regular meetups in all sorts of formats: lightning talks, social networking, and technical workshops.
As a chapter of the global JuniorDev family, we also have links to the Melbourne, Perth, and Singapore chapters!

Isaac Mann - Staff Engineer - Quoterite
Isaac has 20 years of experience in start-ups, including seminal Adelaide stories like SolveIT and HappyCo. He has had roles from implementation, to customer-facing, to executive; building products, high performing teams and recruiting pipelines including graduate and internship programs.
Isaac follows a path alternating between executive (CTO) and individual contributor roles (software engineer), is currently a Staff Engineer at Quoterite, and loves helping people grow and develop to be the best version of themselves.
Dr Jamie Sherrah - Managing Director - Inject AI
Dr. Jamie Sherrah, a leading AI expert with over 25 years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, and AI-driven innovation, is the founder of Inject AI, where he transforms advanced AI concepts into practical solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
His career spans academia, industry, and defence, including roles as an imagery scientist at DST Group and a technical director for Defence at the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, where he continues to serve as an Associate Professor.
Jamie’s work with Inject AI has led to pioneering achievements, such as award-winning satellite image processing and the creation of Australia’s first AI-brewed beer. With over 40 published papers, five patents, and a deep commitment to the entrepreneurial community, Jamie is dedicated to helping businesses leverage AI for a competitive edge in today’s rapidly evolving landscape.
Meghan Ede - Human Resources Lead - Comwire IT
Currently supporting a national team at Comwire IT in the role of Human Resources Lead, Meghan’s career in Human Resources spans multiple industries from Retail and Education through to Real Estate and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
Believing that great relationships and a consistent work ethic are the cornerstones of success, and that a sense of humour never goes astray, Meghan’s approach to HR is centred in kindness, applying a human approach to people management that balances driving business objectives and supporting individual growth.
Sam Greenwood - Head of Engineering - LMG Asset Finance
Sam Greenwood is a technology leader with over 15 years of experience across software, infrastructure, and leadership roles. He has led teams in fast-paced industries like fintech and telecommunications, delivering complex solutions across a broad range of technologies.
