Welcome back to Junior Tech!
This month we have the 2nd part of a 2 part series on CI/CD by Chris.
CI/CD has become an increasingly important part of building software, whether it's an app, website, or api. In this workshop Chris will take be taking us through CD:
- What is CD?
- What tools do we work with in CD?
- A live CD demo using Jenkins
- Try it yourself at the end of the session!
Bring a laptop or just come along to learn and socialise.
The demo will be based on Github Actions so having a Github account will make it easier to run the demo yourself.
We are aiming for the presentation to be shorter this time so we have time to play around with the demo and/or discuss.
Target audience: All levels of experience. Whether or not you're using or setting it up it's a useful topic to know about.
Chris is a software developer with over 20 years of experience and a passion for CI/CD.
