Expectations vs Reality - Life as a Software Developer

It’s hard to know what work-life will be like while you’re still at uni.
Raoul and Elliot from Pushpay share 10 expectations they had when studying, and how far they were from reality now that they're in the workforce.

They will tackle some tough questions such as:

• What should I look for in a company?
• What does a good work-life balance look like?
• What if I don’t know everything?
• What does a software team look like?
• How will I contribute to my future team?
• How do I handle conflict at work?
• Do you need to be an algorithm master to get a job?
• Do you really need to write tests?
• How do companies decide what to work on next?
• How can I grow my career?

After a smashing success from the first event, the second portion of the evening will be in your hands! We'll open up the floor to the audience to talk about projects you're working on that you may need help with, pitch ideas for new projects, or just anything else you want to share with the group.
