• Annie Vella is the only Distinguished Engineer at Westpac New Zealand, where she helps shape engineering practices and tackle some of the organisation’s toughest technical challenges. With over 20 years’ experience across startups, scale-ups, and large enterprises in four countries, Annie is currently researching the impact of AI on software engineering.
• Jason is a seasoned technologist and leader who always introduces himself as a software engineer regardless of his title. With a background spanning startups, fintech, legal tech, and enterprise platforms, Jason blends deep technical expertise with strategic vision and is passionate about technology, software and AI.
