Jupiter Island (12-15mph) to Hobe Sound, 3 stops, please READ

Meet at Coral Cove Park in Tequesta at 8 am peddles up at 8:15
We will make 3 rest stops:

• Stop* 1 at Hobe Sound Beach, bonus miles as we turn around at the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge Beach parking lot,
• Stop* 2 at the "secret garden" on Jupiter Island for quick re-group.
• Stop* 3 Blowing Rocks Preserve Nature Centre - cold water fountain and bathrooms.
• Optional: Coffee at Starbucks after the ride

This is a voluntary ride and you ride at your own risk. Riders are responsible for their own personal safety and to obey traffic and park rules. Please bring helmet, water and spare tube.

Traffic Advisory: The US-1 bridge from Jupiter to Tequesta/Jupiter Island is closed, use Alt-A1A in Jupiter which will connect you directly to South Beach Road in Tequesta. Please allow extra time for this detour.

This ride will be almost entirely on pavement so road mountain and hybrid bikes should fine. I discourage 1 speed cruisers as they struggle to maintain pace. Total distance will be approximately 18-20 miles, please consider your own abilities to ride at this speed and distance as well as your own preferences about the weather. You are welcome to drop out or skip stops as you feel necessary. If the ride needs to be cancelled, I will post here in the Event Chat by 7:00 in the morning of.
