JBG Scavenger Hunt III: Into the Wild
Details
The Jupiter Bicycling Group Scavenger Hunt is back — and we are heading into the woods at Riverbend Park for our third edition!
We’ll break into randomly selected teams and explore the beautiful wooded paths of Riverbend on our bikes, hunting for the interesting and the unexpected based on the clues you’re given. The scouting area may take you anywhere inside the park. The terrain is mostly hard-packed shell rock and paved paths — suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes (road bikes with wider tires should be fine). As always, this is a volunteer led event and participants are riding at their own risk.
A little strategy, a little creativity, and a good eye will go a long way. The team with the most successful finds within the allotted time wins the coveted first-place prize!
We’ll kick things off with a fun icebreaker before launching the challenge.
After the teams return, we’ll gather for a casual lunch (included in the fee) of subs, fruit, chips, and other picnic favorites. You are welcome to bring food to share at the picnic. Then we’ll announce the winners, award prizes, and relax together at the Pavillion.
