Willow Springs Lake and Free Colcord Ridge Campground

It's been almost 2 years, let's go again!
8:30 am departure for paddle on Saturday at Willow Springs Lake
•FREE camping at Colcord Ridge Campground with restrooms and tables.
Look for orange cones, kayaks, Robyn's nest trailer, Lorna's white Chevy pickup.

Sinkhole Campground $20/nt plus fees. More information on website.
Sinkhole is a cramped campground with water and vault toilets, about 1 mile from Willow Springs Lake. Reserve at https://www.recreation.gov/camping/sinkhole-campground

•Thursday: Feel free to show up on Thursday to start the unwinding and relaxation process in the cool whispering pines with views.
•Friday: we might do a hike, explore the area or paddle.
••Saturday: Meet at the boat ramp of Willow Springs Lake at 8:30 am for a day of paddling. Bring a snack/lunch and water.
•Time permitting and group consensus, head to Woods Canyon Lake afterwards for paddling and/or an ice cream cone from the general store.
•POTLUCK on Saturday afternoon around 5pm.
What to bring:
•Hat, sunscreen, PFD (life vest)
•Kayak, paddle, gloves
•Camp gear, food, water
•Hammock
•Games (I'll bring Cornhole, Yahtzee, Skip-Bo, Phase 10,Dominoes and Cribbage)
•Bear Cannister if you have one
•Firewood? Fires may not be allowed that time of year.
•Gas firepit (optional)
•POTLUCK ITEM TO SHARE

•PFD's must be worn properly while on the water, no alcohol consumption while on the water.
•We hope to see you on this one! You could use a good paddling!

I hereby waive, release and discharge the Meetup group Just Add Water Paddlers and it's leaders, organizers, members and participants from any and all claims for personal injury, illness, property damage or death resulting from my, and that of my guest(s), participation in any of the group's events. I acknowledge that the event has risks, and I assume these risks with the full understanding that injuries may result from my participation in any event. I intend this release to discharge the above named from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my participation in any event, even though that liability may result from the negligence or carelessness of the above named.
I certify that I am of sufficient physical condition to participate in this event, and that my equipment is in proper condition for use at the event.
I have read this waiver and release and fully understand its terms and agree that it shall be binding on my heirs and assigns. I consent to emergency transportation and care at my own expense if I become injured or ill.
GUESTS: My guest(s) have read this waiver, and have agreed to it. I accept full responsibility for my guest's safety and behavior.
My RSVP and/or participating in this event is my signature on this waiver for me and my guest(s).
