•Camp, hike and paddle at beautiful Parker Canyon Lake in Southern AZ.
•We will be staying at Lakeview campground at sites 13-16 on the lower loop overlooking the lake. Sites are $20/night cash. (With the America the Beautiful Pass Disability pass ONLY, it's $10/nt.)
•Two tents can be on each spot so share the cost if you like. Camper max length is 36' at the . No utility hookups. Drinking water and toilets available; no showers. You will need to pay for your site with cash once you enter the campground, they do not take reservations. Look for kayaks on or near cars.
•SUP's are welcome on this event.
•Saturday morning we'll drive the short distance to the launch area and paddle around the lake before the winds pick up.
•Afternoon, hike the easy, scenic 5 mile circumference trail so bring a snack and water and maybe binoculars for birding and wildlife.
Or take a nap, ride your bicycle, scenic drive, winery tours in Elgin/Sonoita, relax, read a book, etc.
•Gather around the campfire Friday and Saturday nights to tell stories and a few lies.
•Please bring lots of firewood as we have a fire going in the morning, late afternoon and definitely at night!
Bottles of wine are never turned away...
•Potluck for Saturday night is always a hit! So come prepared to share something.
What to bring:
•Hat, sunscreen
•Camp gear, food, water
•Kayak, paddle, gloves, PFD (life vest)
•Firewood
•Potluck item to share Saturday night meal
•Hiking boots/shoes and possibly a hiking stick/pole
•Binoculars for birding/wildlife (optional)

Directions:
From Tucson, drive east on Interstate 10 to the State Route 83 exit. Drive south to Sonoita, then continue on AZ 83 approximately 25 miles to Parker Canyon Lake. From Sierra Vista, travel through Fort Huachuca’s west gate to State Route 83. Turn south and travel 10 miles to Parker Canyon Lake.

I hereby waive, release and discharge the Meetup group Just Add Water Paddlers and it's leaders, organizers, members and participants from any and all claims for personal injury, illness, property damage or death resulting from my, and that of my guest(s), participation in any of the group's events. I acknowledge that the event has risks, and I assume these risks with the full understanding that injuries may result from my participation in any event. I intend this release to discharge the above named from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my participation in any event, even though that liability may result from the negligence or carelessness of the above named.
I certify that I am of sufficient physical condition to participate in this event, and that my equipment is in proper condition for use at the event.
I have read this waiver and release and fully understand its terms and agree that it shall be binding on my heirs and assigns. I consent to emergency transportation and care at my own expense if I become injured or ill.
