*BOAT-IN CAMPING* Patagonia Lake State Park
Details
Only a 3.5 hour drive to Lake Patagonia.
Paddle-in-camping to sites #112 and #113, Thursday arrival.
Allow about 30 minutes to paddle out to the adjacent sites, see map below in photos.
•#112 and #113 are for 3 nights. 6 people/site allowed.
It cost me $158 total for both sites, so you can pay me something when you show up (approximately $15/person for the 3 nights)
(I don't want to be out all that money if everyone cancels last minute or else I won't do this ever again)
•Limit of 6 adults per site, so only sign up if you're 100% sure you can go!
•I can add another site #111 if necessary depending on interest and waitlist.
•2 free cars per campsite ($15/night for parking for the others) Try to set up a carpool.
*Option: if you must be at the campground, Don will be at site #92 (Wed-Mon) if you want to reserve on your own near us, but activities will center around the paddle-in site, NOT the campground.
•Porta-john, fire ring and a table are at the site.
•There are showers, toilets, water and camp store near where we launch.
•Be sure to have your food items secure as the critters will take anything available, including the whole bag!
•Kayaking, birding, hiking, fishing and exploring, quiet nights, stars galore away from the campground.
•Evening paddles available if you have lights on your yak.
•Saturday lake paddle time TBD around the campfire Friday night.
•Saturday hikes to be discussed also.
•Depending on water temp, floating around on life jackets.
•Please bring firewood to share.
•SUP's are ok

### About Patagonia Lake State Park
Tucked away in the rolling hills of southeastern Arizona is a hidden treasure. Patagonia Lake State Park was established in 1975 as a state park and is an ideal place to find whitetail deer roaming the hills and great blue herons walking the shoreline. The park offers a campground, boat-in camping, beach, tables and grills, a creek trail, boat ramps, and a marina.
The nearby Lakeside Market offers boat rentals and supplies. The campground overlooks the lake where anglers catch crappie, bass, bluegill, catfish, and trout. The park is popular for water skiing, fishing, camping, picnicking, and hiking. And the tracks of the New Mexico/Arizona railroad lie beneath the lake and remnants of the old historic line may be found at the Nature Conservancy in Patagonia. Hikers can stroll along the creek trail and see birds such as the canyon towhee, Inca dove, vermilion flycatcher, black vulture, and several species of hummingbirds.
