Just Friends Hampton Roads

This is a group for emotionally mature adults to get together for a great time. It is not a dating platform. Individuals and couples are welcome. We post local and private events, including concerts, shows, plays, restaurant week, cooking classes, dance lessons, art exhibits, festivals, wine tasting, hiking, camping...

Membership dues are waived for the year 2026. All active members, except co-organizers, are required to pay an annual membership fee of $7.25 to help cover the $299 (plus) tax organizer's cost that Meetup charges annually to run a group.

New members who join on or after January 1st 2027 get a 30-day free trial. Please follow the group rules:

• RSVP thoughtfully — please only RSVP if you plan to attend
• If plans change, update your RSVP or post a brief message (ideally 24–48 hours ahead)
• Arrive on time or post a brief message if running late
• Respect the time, effort, and intention that go into planning each event
• Help maintain a positive, drama-free environment

A no-show without any communication results in removal from the group. Repeated late cancellations (less than 24 hours) result in removal from the group without warning. We understand that life happens; this is simply about courtesy and respect for other members of this group.
