Let's get writing!

Our previously online meetup has shifted to in-person.

A meet and greet for the first 30 minutes or so, then dive in and get writing for 1 hour. The last 30 minutes we chat again, and occasionally if someone is feeling quite brave, might share a little of what they wrote. Don't worry, this is not mandatory and doesn't even happen all that often.

The purpose of this group is to give writers a space to connect with other writers, (be that fiction, poetry, nonfiction, whatever) and a period of time that often ends up being surprisingly productive for getting writing done.

We welcome writers of all levels and have some people who are newly experimenting with writing, and some who make most of their income doing it. Please come with whatever you use to write, be that pen and paper or a laptop, and something to work on, whether that is an ongoing project or a prompt you want to try out.

Our meetups run weekly and there are three per week. You are definitely not expected to attend all of them! If you can't make it every week, that is fine.

We are also pretty bad at RSVPing. RSVPin can make it easier for people to find the group, but if you see that only one person has RSVP'd, know that there will likely be at least a handful of people there.
