Welcome to Just Us Girls! (aka JUGs)
When there are times you would like something to do or some place to go, but you just don't want to do it alone, this is the place.
JUGs is all about female friendships for those who are new to the area or have been here for years, have a sense of humor and can manage to leave your house without your significant other and/or kids.
We are a Ladies ONLY group, but occasionally there are activities where we invite our significant others (or even kids) to join in the fun. Our ladies vary in age from 18 to 60-something; married, single, attached, kids, no kids. The one thing we all have in common is, that we are women. We try to do a variety of things in an attempt to have something that will appeal to everyone. You may not be interested in all of our activities and while we don't expect you to attend everything, we do hope that you will find things of interest and join in.
We have a variety of Meetups that include, but are not limited to....
• Monthly coffees
• Dining out; lunch and dinner
• Creative arts; such as painting classes, pottery, scrapbooking
• Movie matinees
• Games nights
• Monthly Bunco
• Wine tastings
• Local entertainment; concerts (many of them free)
• Weekend trips
How can you help?: If you are interested in hosting an event, contact an Organizer and it will be posted to the calendar. Anyone is welcome to host.
What is required of you?:
A photo of you. Not your dog, child or scenic place. It is very important we know who you are for our members comfort and safety as well as yours.
A valid email address On occasion we may need to contact you in regards to an event you are scheduled to attend. If there is a change or update, without an email we have no way to inform you. JUGs will not share your email with anyone. This is only for the purpose of important information to pass along to you.
Be an active participant
Leave the men and the kids at home. Children are not permitted at events, unless it is stated so in the event description.
RSVP - while we don't expect you to join us for every event, please be sure to RSVP and let us know whether or not you will be joining us.
Show up - if you say you'll be there please show up, or adjust your RSVP accordingly. Please be respectful to your host.
No-shows - if you NO SHOW to 5 events, you will be removed from JUGs.
*** JUGs is not the forum to promote your business, such as Mary Kay, Tupperware, Pampered Chef etc. This is not to say if you are a direct seller you may not join JUGs. If your intention is to make JUGs a potential customer base, you will need to find another Meetup group ***
