Interested in starting a writing meetup? We're looking for hosts! First, join Just Write, then send a message to Mark OMeara (Organizer).
Just Write is for all of us who have a desire to write but never seem to find the time to do it regularly. It is open to all levels and is for those who would like to do more writing on a set date & time each week.
It doesn't matter what type of writing you are doing, or if you have never written before. Simply arrive ready to just write.
Each weekly group usually begins by chatting for several minutes and getting to know each other, though talking is not required. After this we settle in for a good block of time to write while in the company of fellow writers.
GROUP RULE:
- If you RSVP "YES" you must attend OR change your RSVP to "NO" prior to the event so others can attend. We track "No Shows" and if you hit 4 within a 6 month period then you will be permanently removed from the group.
I am looking for Event Organizers that would be willing to start a weekly writing group in new locations and at different times so that it is easier for more of us to get together. Contact me if you might be able to host a weekly group.
