### The Healing Light Class
The Healing Light Class provides an opportunity to learn about Jyorei—a simple yet profound healing art that helps us become healthier and happier by allowing Divine Light to shine within us.
Jyorei was founded in 1934 by Mokichi Okada. He taught that spiritual and physical impurities are the root causes of human suffering and developed Jyorei as a way to dissolve these impurities.
Today, millions of people around the world practise Jyorei and experience its remarkable benefits.
During this class, you will have the opportunity to receive Jyorei and learn more about its principles. If you wish, you may continue your learning journey and become a Jyorei practitioner through additional classes.
Jyorei is shared between two people—one who gives and one who receives.
There is no physical contact involved.
Those who receive Jyorei often experience a deep sense of peace and well-being. Interestingly, the blessings of Jyorei are often just as great—or even greater—for the giver, who cultivates compassion and love through sharing this practice with family, friends, and neighbours.
We look forward to welcoming you to the class.

### About Shumei
Shumei is a spiritual organisation dedicated to fostering health, happiness, and harmony for all, based on the teachings of Mokichi Okada, affectionately known as Meishusama.
Meishusama taught that a world free from sickness, poverty, and conflict is possible through the spiritual practice of Jyorei, the cultivation of Natural Agriculture, and an appreciation of Art and Beauty.
