Sobaeksan (1,439m) is one of Korea’s most scenic mountain ranges, offering stunning views throughout the year. In early March, the mountain may still be covered in snow, creating a magical mix of winter and spring scenery.

### 🥾 Hiking Course (Approx. 12km, 6-7 hours)

🚩 Start at Jukryeong Pass → Yeonhwabong Peak (1,394m) → Enjoy the Sobaeksan Ridge → Summit at Birobong Peak (1,439m) → Descend via Eouigok Trail
✅ Jukryeong Pass (Starting Point) – The hike begins at an altitude of 689m, gradually ascending.
✅ Yeonhwabong Peak (1,394m) – One of Sobaeksan’s major peaks, offering breathtaking views.
✅ Sobaeksan Ridge – The best part of the hike, with a wide-open ridgeline and gentle slopes.
✅ Birobong Peak (1,439m, Sobaeksan Summit) – The highest peak of Sobaeksan, a must for scenic photos! 📸
✅ Eouigok Descent – A smooth and comfortable descent with less strain on the knees.
