# Walk for World Peace
Join us for a day of fun and fundraising for world peace!
We will meet at Whitaker Gateway Park at 10AM in Sarasota at the end of 14th Street by the bay. We will engage in a guided meditation, walk together through The Bay Park and then return to the shelter for a picnic!
All funds raised will support KMC Florida’’s efforts to help the people of Florida develop peaceful minds. By increasing our own inner peace, we can bring about world peace.
As our founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (Geshe-la) says,
“Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.”
