Beyond the Storm of Anxiety, Fear & Worry
Details
From Inner Struggle to Inner Stability
Fear and anxiety are experiences we would rather avoid — yet they arise again and again, often without invitation. Rather than seeing them as failures or obstacles, this half-day course invites us to meet fear and anxiety with curiosity, compassion, and wisdom.
Together we will explore the nature of fear and anxiety: how they arise, the mental stories that sustain them, and the deeply held assumptions about ourselves that keep them in place. Through guided reflection and practical inquiry, we will learn how to transform these states of mind so that they no longer limit or paralyse us, but instead become gateways to insight, resilience, and authentic inner confidence.
In this half day course, you will also be learning to recognise the narrow and mistaken view of ourselves that underlies fear and anxiety. As we begin to loosen and let go of this crippling self-view, a new way of experiencing life naturally opens — one marked by greater ease, clarity, and trust.
The day will be led by experienced Buddhist teacher Chelvi, whose clear, compassionate teaching style draws on the Buddhist tradition while remaining grounded, accessible, and deeply relevant to modern life.
Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, a deeper understanding of fear, or a more confident and open way of being, this course offers a supportive space to turn toward these challenges — and discover what lies beyond the storm.
This course is suitable for complete beginners to meditation as well as experienced practitioners, offering fresh perspectives and practical tools that can be integrated into everyday life.
