Walk For World Peace & Picnic Fundraiser

Join us for a day of fun and fundraising for world peace!
Location: John Chesnut Sr. Park, 2200 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor — Shelter #7
Date & Time: Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m.
We’ll begin our Picnic and Walk for World Peace with a meditation guided by our Resident Teacher, Sarah Frew, at Picnic Shelter #7 followed by a peaceful walk through John Chesnut Sr. Park. We’ll then return to Shelter #7 for a picnic together.

Our fundraising goal is $5,000.

This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Kadampa Meditation Center Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization that was founded on the knowledge that it is possible for everyone to cultivate inner peace. Every donation—large or small—supports KMC Tampa Bay’s dedication to world peace. Your contribution helps us to provide a conducive environment for people to deepen their understanding of Buddha’s teachings and meditation experience. This creates a ripple effect throughout our community—bringing peace to each person who hears these teachings and then shares that peace with their friends, neighbors, and the world. Through meditation, we can gain deep insight into how to be happy and deal with life’s challenges successfully. At KMC Tampa Bay, everyone is welcome!

• Adults: $35 (includes t‑shirt & picnic)
• Children: $10 (includes picnic only)
