Meeting Overview:
We're going to use Codewars.com to work through some code katas together. Codewars.com is a free site which is community driven. Members can create programming challenges known as code katas for others to practice with. The problems range in difficulty and many different programming languages are supported. The site also promotes test-driven development to solve and check solutions. It's a fun place to learn new languages and concepts.
We'll pick a challenge and use ensemble programming to solve it. Which just means one person will be on the keyboard while the group talks through the solution together. In our case one person will share their screen and we'll work together to discuss and solve the problem. We should be able to get through one or two easier challenges together. Everyone can also feel free to work on problems independently. Depending on everyone's background we can cycle through several programming languages or try new ones!
