About us

Kamakura Creative Writing Meetup is a fun and relaxed writing group held every other Saturday morning for anyone who enjoys writing and exploring ideas in a creative and supportive space.

We write in many forms, including books, screenwriting, scripts, blogs, personal reflections, creative stories, travel experiences, philosophy, and moments from daily life. Each meetup offers a gentle balance of quiet writing time and light idea exchange. You are welcome to focus on your own work, share thoughts, talk through ideas or structure, or simply listen and get inspired.

Some people come to write silently, while others enjoy discussing characters, scenes, concepts, or personal experiences. There is no pressure to share and no formal teaching. The atmosphere is open, encouraging, and playful, while still allowing space for deep focus.

All levels are welcome. You do not need to be a professional writer. Curiosity, imagination, and a love for expressing ideas are more important than perfection.

鎌倉クリエイティブ・ライティング・ミートアップは、創作やアイデアを自由に探求したい方のための、楽しくてリラックスしたライティンググループです。隔週土曜日の朝に開催されています。

本の執筆、脚本やスクリーンライティング、ブログ、個人的な内省、創作ストーリー、旅の体験、哲学、日常のひとコマなど、さまざまな形式の文章を書きます。

毎回のミートアップでは、静かに自分の文章に集中する時間と、アイデアを気軽に分かち合う時間のバランスを大切にしています。自分の作品に集中して書いてもよく、考えを共有してもよく、聞くだけの参加も歓迎です。

黙々と書く人もいれば、登場人物や場面、構成、個人的な体験について話す人もいます。共有は必須ではなく、教える人もいません。あたたかく、安心できて、遊び心のある雰囲気の中で、深く集中できる空間を大切にしています。

レベルは問いません。プロの作家である必要もありません。完璧さよりも、好奇心、想像力、そして表現することを楽しむ気持ちを大切にしています。
