Hello everyone!
It’s been a long time since our last event here — but we’re back!
I returned from the Netherlands last year, though not to Kamakura or Zushi, but to Kyoto this time. That means I’m no longer able to host events as I did before.
The good news is that we now have a wonderful new co-organiser, Keiko! She’ll bring fresh energy to the group and start hosting events again from this June.
I’ll be supporting her from Kyoto, and I really hope many of you will join us again — whether you're a local or a visitor — and find a warm, welcoming space here in Kamakura and Zushi.
You’ll find a general description of our group for new members below.
I also hope I’ll get the chance to see you all in person sometime in Kamakura or Zushi!

About This Group
We’re a casual, international community based in Kamakura and Zushi, bringing people together through shared interests in Japan and cultural exchange.
Our regular activities include:
– Japanese Language Club
– Local outings (e.g. festivals, hanami picnics, etc.)
– Other events hosted by our organisers and members
We welcome everyone with the spirit of ichigo ichie – the idea that every encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Let’s meet with kindness and respect, and build a thoughtful, friendly community together.
New ideas and event suggestions are always welcome — feel free to reach out or join one of our upcoming meetups.

オーガナイザーのゴローよりお知らせ（2025年5月）
みなさん、こんにちは！
最後のイベントを開催してからずいぶんと時間が経ってしまいましたが、Kamakura-Zushi Multicultural Meetupが再始動します！
昨年オランダから帰国したのをきっかけに、このグループでの活動も再開します。今は京都に住んでいるため、以前のように僕がイベントをホストすることはできませんが、新しく共同オーガナイザーとしてチームに加わったKeikoさんが、フレッシュなエネルギーと共に6月から新イベントを開催してくれる予定です。
私も京都からチームの一員としてサポートしていきます。鎌倉逗子エリアのローカルの方も旅行中の方にとっても、このグループが心地よく過ごせる出会いの場になれば嬉しいです。
また、新しく参加される方のために、グループの概要をこの下に載せていますのでよかったらご覧くださいね。
またいつか、鎌倉や逗子でみなさんと直接お会いできる日を楽しみにしています。どうぞよろしくお願いします！

このグループについて
私たちは鎌倉・逗子を拠点とするカジュアルな国際交流グループです。日本語学習者に実践練習の場を設けることを中心に、その他日本文化や多文化共生、ウェルビーイングに関心のある人々が、出会い、つながる場をつくっています。
主な活動内容は以下のとおりです。
– 日本語クラブ
– 地元でのお出かけイベント（例：お祭り、花見ピクニックなど）
– その他、共同オーガナイザーやメンバーが企画するイベントも予定しています
新しいイベントのアイデアはいつでも歓迎しています。いつでもお気軽にご参加ください。「一期一会」の精神を大切に、温かく思いやりあるコミュニティを一緒につくっていきましょう。
