🏮🏮🏮We'll get together on FRIDAY the 16th(August) and go to a beautiful LANTERN FESTIVAL on a SECRET LOCATION🏮🏮🏮

This is not only an opportunity to EXPERIENCE AN AUTHENTIC JAPANESE FESTIVAL, but also enjoy some BEAUTIFUL VIEWS.
From the mountain you can admire the SUN SETTING DOWN ON THE CITY🌄, the YASAKA PAGODA🛕, and the KYOTO TOWER🗼, specially lightened up for the occassion.

−18.20we meet up in GION SHIJO STATION(exit number 3, the one at river side and south)
− 18.30 we head out to the LANTERN FESTIVAL.

Remember this is not a touristic place, is a CEMETARY and people do this festival in memory of their loved ones, so be respectful and don't disturb the locals

The SECRET LOCATION is an ancient BUDDHIST🪷 cemetery more than 500 years old. It's located on the HIGASHIYAMA MOUNTAINS🌄, just a 10 minutes walk from GION SHIJO STATION.
Every year, during the OBON season, a 🏮LANTERN FESTIVAL 🏮is carried out to welcome back the souls of the departed, which are said to visit the earthly world during this time of year.

Don't worry if you don't speak Spanish or Japanese, you'll have a great time either way and maybe even catch up on some of the language.

So come join us to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL SIGHTS, make NEW FRIENDS, and take AMAZING PICTURES📸.

Desde la montaña se puede ver el ATARDECER🌄, además de la PAGODA DE YASAKA 🛕y la TORRE DE KIOTO🗼, especialmente iluminadas para la ocasion.

Ven a disfrutar de un AUTENTICO FESTIVAL JAPONES🇯🇵, hacer NUEVOS AMIGOS, y sacar HERMOSAS FOTOS📸

18.20 nos encontramos en Gion Shijo(salida 3, del lado del río, al sur)
18.30 partimos caminando al festival (unos 10 minutos).

Recuerda ser considerado y que en el cementerio habrá mucha gente visitando a sus seres queridos.

Trata de ser puntual, pero si llegas tarde envianos un mensaje.

El festival toma lugar en un tradicional cementerio BUDISTA🪷 con mas de 500 años de antiguedad. Esta ubicado en las montañas de Higashiyama🌄, a 10 minutos de la estacion Gion Shijo. Alli todos los años se realiza un festival durante el periodo de OBON, donde se prenden mas de 10.000 LINTERNAS, para honrar a los antepasados.

京都は五山の送り火は有名ですが、東大谷の万灯会はご存知ですか？
祇園四条駅から１０分離れている東大谷霊園に、１万灯が灯され、夕暮れと素敵な町の眺めも楽しめます。八坂の塔🛕や京都タワー🗼も見えます。
しかも、ほとんどの人が送り火を見に行かれるので、穴場で混雑しません！

お参りに来られている方のご迷惑とならないよう、ご配慮をお願いいたします。
