🌟 Overview:

Join us for the hiking meetup event to KOYA-SAN, one of the famous mountains in Japan. Hiking Mount Koya offers an enchanting journey through lush cedar forests, ancient pilgrimage trails, and culturally significant sites. The hike provides not only a physical adventure but also a deeply spiritual experience amidst the timeless beauty of one of Japan's most revered mountains.
This event welcomes everyone, from beginners to experienced hikers. (Please be aware this is a hiking event, not sightseeing meetup.)

🥾 Schedule:

• 9:50 Meet up at Hashimoto station (橋本駅)
  nankai-koya-line, platform 5 （南海高野山ー極楽橋駅ゆき）
• 9:54 Take the train*
• 10:30 Quick Introductions & Start Hiking
• 12:00 Lunch, at Japanese restaurent
• 15:00 Reach at Koya-san
• 17:30 Cable car station (Back to gokurakubashi)
• 18:30 Hashimoto station (解散)

* As the frequency of trains are very less in this area so please don't be late.

🎒 What to Bring:

• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Water (at least 500ml)
• Snacks
• Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, warm clothes, etc.)
• Camera or smartphone (if you’d like to take photos)

• Please refrain from participating if you’re feeling unwell.
• Walk at a comfortable pace suitable for your physical condition.
• Carry all trash with you; let’s respect nature!
• Requesting participants, to stay on designated trails and close to the group to avoid getting lost and minimize environmental impact.

• Event will be cancelled if rain/snow.
• Organizer will not be responsible for any kind of accident. Please take your own responsibility.
• Please maintain respectful and friendly conversation at all times, keeping the event positive and inclusive for all participants.
• Repeated same day cancellation without informing the organizer may result in removal from the group.
• NO SHOW will cause removal from the group unless there is a valid reason and informed to the organizer.
