Kansai Mountains

Enjoy exciting the last hike of this year with giant rocks, wide views and romantic illumination in the night sky!

We would like to walk a popular trekking course for beginners. We go hiking on low mountains and the trails are not difficult nor dangerous, but there are a lot of giant and unique rocks in the section called Umanose. Though it may look terrifying at first glance, we must be fascinated by the amusement of the rocky area.

First we ascend trails and head to Mt.Higashiyama and Umanose.

After enjoying the section, we walk on the hiking course and get to Mt.Hataburiyama in the evening. The name of the mountain is derived from waving flags. About 300-100 years ago people in those days told the news of rice trading quotes at Osaka Dojima to the disant areas by waving flags and this mountaintop was a part of the relay points. There we can watch sea, cities and Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. The beautiful suspension bridge is relatively near and it looks big. We will stay there for about ten minutes. We hope to see sunset views at other places at first and then enjoy beautiful night views surrounding the mountaintop and illumnated bridge.

Finally we descend the trails for about 30 minutes and arrive at a station.

巨岩、眺望そして夜空の中のロマンチックなライトアップを見ながら今年最後のハイキングを楽しみましょう！
初心者でも歩ける人気のコースを歩きましょう。低山を行き難しくも危なくもないですが、馬の背と呼ばれる区間には多くの巨大で独特の岩々があります。一目見て驚くかもしれませんが、その岩々の区間の面白さに魅かれることに違いありません。
まず最初に登山道を上がり東山と馬の背に向かいます。
その区間を楽しんでからハイキングコースを進み夕方に旗振山に着きます。山の名前は旗を振ることに由来します。およそ三百年前から百年前、当時の人々は大坂堂島米相場の情報を旗を振ることで遠方に知らせましたが、この山頂はその中継地点の一つでした。ここからは海、都市そして明石海峡大橋が見えます。その美しい吊橋は比較的近いので大きく見えます。そこで10分程度休みます。最初に別の場所で日没を見て、それから山頂を取り囲む美しい夜景や橋のライトアップを楽しみたいと思います。
最後に山を約30分降りて駅に到着します。

Watch incredibly giant aircrafts from unbelievably near sites!

We would like to see sunrise over the vast aiport grounds and walk around Osaka(Itami) airport runways.
We can get close to them at some places, and of course many airplanes take off or touch down there, so we can watch a lot of moving aircrafts at near places. You may be surprised to watch how giant they are and will be fun as watching them. We cannot enjoy this angle at airport terminal building observation deck.

First we go to the place which is close to the almost northwestest edge of the runways. Usually all airplanes take off there. We expect to watch first sunrise of 2026 and enjoy watching airplanes takeoff.
After that we move to the next places and walk for a while. On the way we might watch slowly moving aircrafts on the runways.
Then we arrive at a bank. This place is very close to the southest edge of the runways, we can watch both airplanes which are going to land and are going to take off. Landing airplanes are very giant and flying just above us. Osaka(Itami) airports have a lot of departing and arriving airplanes and sometimes they do frequently. So we can expect to watch many and various aircrafts. Even if you are not interested in airplanes, you will be fun as staying there.
There is a new park close to the bank. The park was built to enjoy watching landing airplanes, so we can watch them at different angles.
Finally we take a bus and go to any railway station. We can get off at Hankyu Sone station or Kita Osaka Kyuko(connecting to Osaka Metro Midosuji Line) Ryokuchikoen station.

信じられないほど近い地点から驚くほど巨大な航空機を見ましょう！

巨大な空港敷地越しに日の出を見て大阪（伊丹）空港滑走路周辺を歩きましょう。
私たちは空港敷地に近接することが出来、もちろん多くの航空機がその滑走路で離発着しています、そのため多くの機体が移動しているのを見ることができます。航空機がいかに巨大なのかを見て驚きそして観察している内に楽しくなることでしょう。空港ターミナルビル屋上デッキからこの角度で眺めることはできません。

最初に私たちは滑走路のほぼ北西端に近接した場所に行きます。通常全ての離陸便がここから飛び立ちます。この場所で2026年の初日の出を期待しそして航空機の離陸を楽しみたいと思います。
そのあと次の場所に移動し暫く歩きます。途中滑走路を低速で移動している機体を見られるかもしれません。
それから私たちはある土手に着きます。この場所は滑走路最南端に非常に近く、離発着両方の航空機を観察できます。着陸便は非常に巨大かつ頭上真上を飛びます。大阪（伊丹）空港は非常に離発着便が多くしかも時々かなり頻繁です、そのため私たちはかなり多く様々な機体を見られるのを期待できます。もし飛行機に興味なくてもそこで留まって見ている内に楽しくなるでしょう。
その土手のすぐ傍に新しい公園があります。この公園は着陸便の観察を楽しむために作られました、そのため異なる角度でそれらを楽しめます。
最後にバスに乗って任意の鉄道駅に向かいます。阪急曽根駅または北大阪急行（大阪メトロ御堂筋線に直通）緑地公園駅で下車できます。
