Ono Alps,extremely thrilling and giant rocks

Let's try almost vertical and long giant rocks!

We would like to go to very low mountains called Ono Alps near Kobe.The altitude of all peaks is under 200 meters,but there are some rocky places in the mountains,so they are called as the lowest Alps in Japan.However,there are a kind of authentic long rocks,it looks almost vertical at first glance,without any ropes nor chains there.If you are interested in this thrilling place,please go and try it.
First we walk in the town for an hour and approach to the mountains.After entering the trail we start to ascend the mountain.As going up,we can have panoramic views.We can look Awaji Island,Akashi Kaikyo Bridge,sea and on on.Shortly we arrive at Ono-fuji.This is the highest peak of this Ono Alps mountains and the altitude is only 198.9m.There we can look Mt.Beniyama which features thrilling rocky area.We take a break around there.
Once we descend the trail and we head to Mt.Beniyama.Before long we get to the place where the giant rocks tower in front of us.We climb them cautiously.We will feel a sense of accomplishment when arriving at the mountaintop.
Leaving the top we go down the mountain and we walk to the large ponds called Kamoike.In winter there are a lot of migratory birds including swan.We watch them a short time and finally we head to the goal,a railway station.

If you have sturdy hiking shoes,make sure to wear them.
DO NOT WEAR LIGHT SHOES LIKE RUNNING SHOES because they may be dangerous when ascending rocky area.

殆ど垂直のような長い巨岩に挑戦しましょう！

小野アルプスというとても低い山々に行きたいと思います。全ての山頂が標高200m未満ですが、いくつかの岩場が存在し、そのため日本で最も低いアルプスと言われています。しかしながら、一見ほぼ垂直のように見える、ちょっと本格的な長い巨岩が存在し、そこにはロープも鎖もありません。もしこのスリリングな場所に興味があれば、ぜひ挑戦しにきてください。
最初に街を約1時間歩き山に近づきます。登山道に入り山を登り始めます。高度を上げるにつれ、視界が広がります。淡路島、明石海峡大橋、海などが見えます。やがて小野富士に着きます、ここは小野アルプスの最高峰で標高198.9mしかありません。岩場が特徴の紅山がここから見えます。この辺りで休憩を取ります。
一度登山道を下り紅山に向かいます。まもなく巨岩が眼前にそびえる個所に着きます。慎重に登ります。山頂に着けば達成感を感じる事でしょう。
そこから山を下り鴨池という大きな池に行きます。冬には白鳥を含む多くの渡り鳥がいます。少しそこで渡り鳥を観察したのち、終点の駅に向かいます。
