KC Bitcoiners Meetup - GitHub 101 with Yoio

Join us for an evening of Bitcoin learning! Meet the KC Bitcoiners for good conversation, new connections and a look into one of the most important tools in open source Bitcoin development: Github.

Schedule:

6:30 PM – Guests arrive for light networking, drinks, and casual discussion about what’s new in Bitcoin. (We usually meet in the back events room). Look for bitcoin insignia. Take it upon yourelf to meet other bitcoiners. There are a few who like to sit at the bar early to greet newcomers as they come in the door. Don't be shy and ask around for the bitcoiners. We then usually convene in the back party room for more socializing. Yoio and fam will be arriving at 7:30 to give a presentation on Github you don't want to miss.

7:30 PM – Presentation by Yoio: “GitHub: What it is, why it matters, and how to use it.”

Yoio will lead a presentation and will walk us through the basics of GitHub. How it powers open source collaboration and why it’s essential for Bitcoin development. If you've ever wondered how Bitcoin development happens or how to get involved this talk is for you. Whether you're just learning or already building, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of the tools behind Bitcoin's open source movement.

This is a relaxed meetup where all levels of Bitcoiners are welcome, from total beginners to seasoned developers. Come connect, learn, and build together.

Note: We are not a “blockchain” or “crypto” group. We focus exclusively on Bitcoin; its technology, philosophy, and community.
